- PDF (Portable Document File) and is a universal file format; allowing you to view accurate electronic reproductions of our sewing documents regardless of the computer, operating system, monitor or printer.
- What is Adobe Acrobat Reader?
- Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free software utility for viewing and printing PDF files. Think of it as putting a "special" pair of glasses on your computer to open and view a PDF file.
- Where do I get Adobe Acrobat Reader?
- Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free software download from Adobe's website: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
- How do I receive my sewing PDF file?
- Our electronic sewing resources will be delivered as an attached file to your e-mail.
- How do I open my sewing PDF file?
- First, be sure Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on your computer. Locate the e-mail message with the attached sewing PDF file. Open the attachment section of the e-mail message. Double click on the file, your Adobe Acrobat Reader software will launch and the file will open.
- Can I print my sewing PDF file from Sew 'n' Sew?
- Yes. When you are ready to print, choose File > Print. Remember this is for personal use, you are not authorized to print multiple volumes for your sewing club!
- Can I send my sewing PDF file to my friends?
- No. Tracking detection is embedded into each file. Please encourage your friends to subscribe.
- I want a copy of my sewing PDF file, but I don't have a printer attached to my computer. What can I do?
- Order the sewing information in its printed version.
Viewing/Printing Troubleshooting Questions
- What if I get an error message when trying to display a sewing PDF document? Is it your file or my system?
- Every file is tested and verified before leaving our system. However, due to high traffic on the Internet, a file can be damaged during delivery. If the file is a free download, try downloading it again. If you purchased the sewing PDF file or it a newsletter issue, contact us and we will provide you with another copy of the file free of charge.
- I opened my sewing PDF file, it looks great on the screen. When I try to print, the words run together with no spaces between them? What's wrong?
