About Us. In 1990, we asked the sewing community a simple question, "Have you heard about Sew 'n' Sew?" Today, thousands of sewing enthusiasts, teachers and industry professionals around the world rely on our sewing information, projects, online sewing classes and inspiration.

As many of you know, Sew 'n' Sew is a collaborative mother-daughter effort. Together, we produce a sewing newsletter, create unique patterns, develop sewing projects, conduct online sewing classes and create innovative sewing solutions for our global sewing enthusiasts.

Peggy Fondren

Peggy Fondren is the driving force behind Sew 'n' Sew. As a young girl, she would spend countless hours behind a treadle sewing machine stitching "one-of-a-kind" masterpieces for her dolls and kittens! Today, Peggy combines thirty-plus years of hands on expertise, classroom teaching knowledge and attention to detail in creating the content for our sewing newsletter, Sew 'n' Sew; designing unique add-on patterns; and overseeing our global classroom of students.

Quoted by David Page Coffin in Thread's Magazine and recognized as teacher, innovator and designer, Peggy Fondren has been stitching her sewing legacy from her sewing studio in Texas. Peggy conducts sewing seminars and workshops, teaches adult sewing classes, speaks at various sewing/fashion events and serves as a consultant.

Leslye Fondren

Leslye Fondren serves as the National Marketing Director and oversees print, CD-ROM and electronic production; product development; scheduling and marketing.
